Rule 5 Draft (Passed) To be implemented when rosters are at 40
There has been a new proposal to implement a Rule 5 draft, which will help maintain balance to the league, and create some strategy and drama in deciding how we construct our rosters.
After the World Series and before the book comes out, all teams will protect 40 players on their current roster. Any player not protected would be eligible for the rule 5 draft. The draft would go in worst to first order. All players drafted must be kept on the Up-team for the entire year, though they can be put on the DL if they are hurt during play. They must return to the Up-team after their stint on the DL. If the team that drafts the Rule 5 player decides that they can no longer keep him on the Up-team, he is returned to the original teams roster. Teams are not required to make a draft pick if they do not want to. There will only be one round for the Rule 5 draft. Draft slots may not be traded, but the player drafted may be traded anytime after or during the draft. So pre arranged trades are legit. All drafted players must remain on the Up-team, even if they are traded, or must be returned to their original team.
This rule would start in December of 2017

Injury Rule Update
The injury rule proposal in to re-write the injury chart to state that players must leave the game by the start of the next half inning to get credited for sitting out a game. A player could no longer play the entire game and get pulled in the 9th inning and get credited for a game sat.
This rule would start in the beginning of the 2017 season.

Emergency Catchers (passed)
This rule is the event that an emergency catcher must be used in the event that all catchers are injured. A utility player may be inserted at catcher as a C-5 (+5) e-max and all pitchers for that team are considered dotted. The emergency catcher would also lose their N power. The current rule is that pitchers dot on their regular inning.
